Chelsea go into this weekend's clash with Aston Villa needing a big result and performance after their midweek humiliation against Arsenal.

The Blues were dismantled 5-0 at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night and it feels that the pressure on Mauricio Pochettino has never been greater. Chelsea's collapse in the Arsenal game has now dented their chances of qualifying for European football this season.

With six games left to go in their season Chelsea are in ninth-place, one point behind West Ham United and three below Newcastle United. Pochettino will now see his position as Blues head coach assessed at the end of the season, football.london understands.
